STEPS:

1. The ADR screen is located under the Client Information folder on the Site Plan. View screen shot.
2.  Use the ADR screen to enter the location, date and time of an arbitration/mediation hearing, the name of the individual who will preside over the hearing, and any additional notes about the arbitration/mediation hearing.

3.   Use the Tab key on your keyboard to move between fields:

4.  Enter the date and time of the hearing in the Date and Time fields.  Setting the date sets the prompts in the Daily Tickler and Daily Worksheet and logs an entry in the Client Activity Log.  View screen shot.
5.  Enter the hearing location in the Location field.  View screen shot.
6.  Enter the first and last name of the person presiding over the hearing and the name of their Firm.   View screen shot.
7.  Enter the firm Address, City, State, Zip Code, Phone and Fax numbers.  View screen shot.
8.  Use the Notes space to record:
  • all efforts made to arrange the mediation/arbitration hearing
  • notes about the hearing itself
  • reminders to yourself or the attorney
  • any other pertinent information

9.  The information on this screen is transferred to the Mediation/Arbitration Report.  View screen shot.
10. Once the hearing has been held, check the Held box on the ADR screen.  This removes any hearing ticklers from the Daily Tickler and Daily Worksheet.  View screen shot.
